- Hi, I live in the UK. I am 56 going on 25, and live with my wonderful husband, ot 30 years, Kevin. He is an artist/writer/musician and poor as a church mouse. I am normally a driving instructor, but am studying internet marketing so I can retire with an income before my eyes give out (who wants to still be working at 65 anyway). So, here I am, making virtual connections with an many like minded people as myself. I love the course that I am on, and it has given me so much knowledge and so much more confidence to get out there and do it. Hopefully, I will be able to spread the word and help others do the same. I love reading, writing, film and TV, conversation, food and wine, animals, earth sciences, the solar system and such.... and much more than I have time for (at the moment) like yoga and keep fit.

Well, fantastic couple of days just gone, and another few instalments of Christmas Cheer lined up for tomorrow, and the next day. Just booked 4 days off work and am loving it.
So, I just wanted to wish you all a very merry time and best wishes for the coming new year. This year has been the worse one, financially, I/we have ever had, but without friends it would have been so much worse.

I have had some difficulty applying to Google Adsense, their site is awful, in fact, all their sites are awful, look like 6th form projects - actually, I think nowadays, a teenager could come up with a better looking and more user friendly site. Anyhow, any ideas? The problem is that the form does not switch form States, to UK address details when the country is clicked.
